Most people with insurance have either PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) or HMO (Health Maintenance Organization). PPO insurance allows patients to see doctors both within and outside of their network. Outside-of-network providers can be seen at a discounted rate (approx. 60-80% off), with proof of service (AKA superbill) provided to the insurance company. So, you can use your insurance, if PPO. Unfortunately, HMO insurance does not allow for out-of-network providers. NeoPsych providers are out-of-network, but we assist patients with being reimbursed via superbill. Therapy is a treatment that often requires consistent appointments for best results. NeoPsych encourages a commitment to attending a few appointments at a time with reduced prices. We also offer options for people who prefer less commitment.
For example, with the individual 4 session bundle:
You pay $135 per session for the 4 session bundle
– approximately $95 per session given to you after superbill reimbursement from your insurance company
= a cost of approximately $40 per session

Per policy superbills are sent to you directly within 7 business days of your appointment. Most likely within 1-2 business days though.
Rates may vary. You will need to call your insurance company and ask for their out of pocket rates for a best estimate.
Yes. There is a refund policy if you choose not to use all of the appointments that you paid for at the discounted rates. However, the amount refunded will be discounted at the higher tier. For example, if you pay for the 4 session rate, but only use two of those sessions, you will be charged at the 2 session rate and refunded the rest. This policy will apply to the individual, couple, and family bundles.
