How We Treat
Medication Management
NeoPsych is a private practice led by a psychiatrist. Dr. Hughes views medications as a last resort after other options have been explored. This practice works very hard to educate and inform our patients before prescribing takes place. Medication management appointments are limited.
FDA Approved Procedures That Provide Targeted Treatment For Depression
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a safe, effective, and widely accepted procedure that can be very helpful for people suffering from depression and other conditions. Genesight Testing
For patients who have tried multiple medications, we offer testing how your body metabolizes medications to determine the best option for you. Your insurance at least partially covers this service. You can click the link here for more details.
Talk Therapy
NeoPsych is a huge advocate of talk therapy, as it can be a very effective way to treat and prevent some forms of mental illness. We have great relationships with therapists in the community who can assist with most conditions. As such, at least one course of talk therapy is highly encouraged for all of our patients.
